Detailed description
Product Overview
This series is part of BOTER’s comprehensive whole-house functional hardware system and comprises a range of cartridge-style hinges, including the DPT low-angle damping cartridge hinge (with two-stage force for free-stop positioning), the DM-SS stainless-steel three-dimensional-adjustment cartridge damping hinge (single-stage force), the DM three-dimensional-adjustment cartridge damping hinge (single-stage force), the DR-SS/DRT-SS stainless-steel cartridge damping hinges (single-stage force or two-stage force with positioning), and the DR/DRT cartridge damping hinges (single-stage force or two-stage force with positioning). All five models feature a cartridge design, with a standardized core hinge cup specification of 35 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm in depth, primarily suited for door leaf thicknesses of 14–22 mm (with the DPT model accommodating 14–23 mm). The typical opening angle ranges from 103° to 105°, and all models support three-dimensional adjustment. Complete installation accessories and decorative covers are provided as part of the package.
The core materials for each model fall into two categories: cold-rolled steel with a nickel-plated surface, and 304/201 stainless steel with a polished stainless-steel finish. Actuation types include single-stage force, two-stage force with arbitrary stop, and two-stage force with positioning; the DPT model uniquely features a low-angle cushioning function of less than 10 degrees.

Application Scenarios
This series of cabinet hinges is a custom hardware solution for whole-house cabinetry, primarily used for connecting door panels in panel-style furniture. Specific applications include:
Custom whole-house solutions: Custom-made cabinets, including wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, wine cabinets, bookcases, and shoe cabinets;
Finished furniture category: Finished furniture such as bedside tables, sideboards, TV cabinets, and bathroom vanities;
Commercial / Residential Cabinet: Office filing cabinets, balcony storage cabinets, kitchen wall cabinets/floor cabinets, etc.;
Special needs scenarios: The stainless-steel version is ideal for humid, corrosion-prone environments such as bathrooms and kitchens, while the low-angle damping version is perfect for children’s rooms and light-luxury cabinetry—settings that demand superior cushioning to prevent pinching.
Use value
Enhancing the user experience of the cabinet: The damping and cushioning function ensures silent, impact-free door closing; the low-angle buffer further prevents fingers from getting pinched. The two-stage force control and position-locking feature allow precise control over the door’s opening and closing angles, while the free-stop function enables the door to be held at any desired open position, making it more convenient to place or retrieve items.
Reduce installation and maintenance costs: The cassette-style quick-install design simplifies the installation process, while the multi-dimensional adjustment feature allows for correction of dimensional discrepancies during installation—eliminating the need for re-drilling holes. Additionally, during subsequent use, fine adjustments can be made to accommodate wear and deformation, thereby extending the service life of the cabinet.
Adapts to different usage environments: A wide range of material and load-type options allows for precise matching to the cabinet’s specific application environment—whether dry or humid, residential or commercial—thereby preventing damage caused by mismatched components and enhancing the durability of hardware fittings.
Balancing aesthetics and practicality: The matching cup-head and arm-body decorative covers conceal the hinge mounting structure, resulting in a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing cabinet door. The snap-fit design does not affect the door’s opening and closing angle, thereby maximizing the usable space within the cabinet.
Standardized adaptability: The standard hinge cup specifications are compatible with a wide range of door panel thicknesses, seamlessly integrating with mainstream panel furniture manufacturing processes to meet both standardized and customized whole-home furnishing needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Installation type
How are the distance from the door panel to the edge (K value) and the gap between the door panel and the cabinet side (A value) determined?
Answer: The K and A values must be selected in accordance with the accompanying clearance calculation table (Table A) for the product, as well as the door panel thickness (T value) and cabinet type (full-cover / half-cover / internal-overlay). The primary reference is the hinge cup size and the minimum required opening clearance specified in the product manual; simply match these values to the actual door thickness.
What is the minimum door opening clearance corresponding to different door panel thicknesses (T values)?
Answer: For door panels with a thickness of 14–23 mm, the corresponding minimum door-opening clearance ranges from 0.4 to 3.2 mm. Specifically, a 14-mm-thick panel requires a minimum clearance of 0.4 mm; a 15-mm panel, 0.5 mm; a 16-mm panel, 0.8 mm; a 17-mm panel, 1.0 or 1.1 mm; an 18-mm panel, 1.3 mm; a 19-mm panel, 1.6 or 1.7 mm; a 20-mm panel, 2.0 mm; a 21-mm panel, 2.3 or 2.5 mm; a 22-mm panel, 2.8 mm; and a 23-mm panel, 3.1 or 3.2 mm. Note that there may be slight variations depending on the specific hinge model; therefore, precise matching must be based on the parameter table for the corresponding hinge type.
Adjustment type
How do you adjust the height, cover position, and door gap using the adjustment screws on the base?
Answer:
① Height adjustment: Adjusted via a base mounted on the side panel, enabling fine vertical adjustment within ±1.5 mm;
② Cover position adjustment: Operated by rotating the adjustment screw, supporting a 5 mm adjustment range;
③ Door gap adjustment: This is also achieved by rotating the adjustment screws, with a range of ±2.5 mm. Horizontal and depth adjustments can be made by increasing or decreasing the corresponding values via the respective adjustment screws.
How can excessive adjustment during the adjustment process be avoided to prevent hinge loosening or door panel misalignment?
Answer: When making adjustments, follow the principles of small, incremental tweaks combined with real-time inspection. After each 1/4-turn increment of the adjustment screw, check the fit between the door panel and the cabinet body as well as the uniformity of the door gap. Stop once the desired position is reached to prevent over-rotation, which could strip the threads or loosen the base mounting. Once adjustment is complete, gently push the door panel to test its opening and closing; only proceed with slight locking of the adjustment screw or base after confirming there is no misalignment.
Using classes
How should one troubleshoot when the low-angle buffering function (less than 10 degrees) fails?
Answer: Only the DPT model features low-angle cushioning of less than 10 degrees; if it fails, first troubleshoot the following:
① Has dust or foreign matter entered the hinge damper core, causing the damping components to seize up?
② Check whether the hinges are misaligned; door panels and cabinet bodies with compression-damping mechanisms can affect the cushioning performance.
③ Has the damping component lost its cushioning function due to wear and aging? If the component is damaged, the hinge damper core or the entire hinge assembly must be replaced.
Second-stage force / Why can’t the second-stage-force positioning door panel be accurately positioned?
Answer: The main reasons include
① Deviation in the hinge installation position and inadequate horizontal/depth adjustment result in uneven force distribution during door opening and closing, preventing proper positioning.
② Second-stage force / Positioning component jamming, caused by foreign matter ingress or insufficient lubrication; clean the component and apply dedicated hardware grease.
③ The hinge is loose and the base/screws are not securely fastened, causing the door panel to shift during opening and closing; re-tighten the fasteners and make fine adjustments to the hinge position.
